Karan is the Vice President of Advisory and Origination at DCPLA. He is responsible for advising clients on topics such as product development/strategy optimisation, market positioning, track record, and nailing the pitch.

Karan holds a Master’s degree in Investment Banking and Capital Markets from the IESEG School of Management in France and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Markets from Mumbai University in India.

He is a distinguished Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) charter holder. Additionally, Karan is a certified Bloomberg Specialist. His prior experience includes a role as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Karan is proficient in English, has a working knowledge of German, and is fluent in several Indian regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
