DC Placement Advisors, a leading European placement agent, welcomes a new expert in their team: Matthias Falkiewicz will be in charge of Sales in the position of a Director. Furthermore, Sandrine Vergallen will focus on the business area Real Estate Advisory as a Director.

As DC Placement Advisors aim to expand their business in the field of real estate and to increase its sales in order to further strengthen their market position, these two experts will create new opportunities and enhancements within the market of institutional investment in Europe.

Sandrine Vergallen is part of the company since November 2016, advising the company’s clients’ fundraising and marketing activities as Director & Head of Real Estate Advisory. Sandrine has intensive experience in pan-European Real Estate since 1997 with key players such as Catella Property Consultants, Aberdeen Asset Management and AXA Real Estate. As an experienced investment manager and institutional investor relationship manager, she has a well-established network in the pan-European institutional investor markets, which she closely follows regarding trends, developments and investor appetite for alternative and real estate investments. Sandrine managed aggregate AUM of EUR 1.5bn, covering from Scandinavia to Southern Europe.

Matthias Falkiewicz started his assignment as Director in March 2017. With focus on robust mandates and fund placement opportunities, Matthias is an accomplished professional with experience in the asset management industry since 1997 serving most recently at Bankhaus Lampe in London. Prior to this position he worked at Commerzbank in Fixed Income & Currencies and Structured Credit Sales in charge of origination, preparation and distribution of structured credit. He spent three years in Warsaw as the Head of Foreign Institutional Equity Sales for mBank and earlier in Vienna, Austria, as a Senior Pan-European Institutional Equity Sales at C.A. Cheuvreux, a leading independent European financial services company. Early career steps included Unicredit / Hypovereinsbank, Kepler Equities, Lazard & Co. GmbH & KUNA & Co. KG and Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt. Matthias aims to strengthen existing and establish new relationships with European investors, whereupon alternative asset classes shall be the main target of his activities.
