Munich based Global Placement Agent DC Placement Advisors Chief Executive Nina Dohr-Pawlowitz has been selected for the debut Rainmaker 20 list of PEI’s Infrastructure Investor. “Trustworthiness, honesty, integrity, the ability to build relationships and a deep understanding of the asset class are among the key skills” to make it on the list, the magazine said.

2018 was a record year for infrastructure with 90 billion globally raised and this was the ideal moment to come up with an inaugural Rainmaker 20 list, the magazine stated. To find out who should be featured, they posed a straightforward question to a large sample of GPs, LPs and placement agents around the world: “If you were out there raising a fund, who would you want on your team and why?” Those with the most nominations made the list.

“In the recent announcement, Nina has been lauded for her “deep institutional contact base” and has raised funds for the likes of AMP Capital, Alinda, Schroders and Natixis. With interpersonal skills a must-have in the world of fundraising, “it is always a pleasure to present with her and she strikes the right balance during intense fundraising meetings”, according to a nomination. Dohr-Pawlowitz has raised more than €5.5 billion for equity, debt and renewables-focused vehicles across Europe and Asia. She has overall responsibility for the DCPLA distribution team and chairs the company’s Senior Advisory Group, which uses its network to open up new opportunities “, PEI said in the announcement.

“I’m absolutely delighted and very honored of being among the Top 20 Rainmakers”, says Nina Dohr-Pawlowitz, CEO, DC Placement Advisors and I will continue with my firm to do the best job for our clients, the leading GPs in the Real Assets business.

Among others on the rainmakers list, there were AMP Capital, GIP, BlackRock, Antin, I Squared, EQT.
