DC Placement Advisors, leading placement agent and fundraising specialist, announced today that Felix Schiebel had joined the company, effective 1st September 2017, as a Director.

Mr Schiebel’s appointment underlines the firm’s strong commitment to continue building a pre-eminent debt capital raising business for DCPLA in the markets of France, Benelux and the Mediterranean area. In this position, Mr Schiebel will play a key role within DCPLA’s distribution team, as the firm continues to partner with leading and first class investment management companies in the debt sector to help them raising capital from top tier institutional investors throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East and South Korea.

Felix Schiebel is in charge of the coverage and representation of our clients in the institutional investor markets of France, Switzerland, Austria and the Mediterranean region. Having worked for several banks in different countries for over two decades, Felix is gifted with a tremendous track record in the corporate and structured finance business. Projects he has been contributing to involve the marketability and syndication of credit transactions mainly on behalf of French, German and Dutch companies. From sourcing primary and secondary credit opportunities to capital market transactions such as RMBS, covered bonds, CLOs and preference shares. Important prior firms he worked for included NIBC Bank in London and Frankfurt, IXIS Corporate & Investment Bank in Paris, Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart and Dresdner Bank’s business region of Latin America.

At his last tenure at MLP he acted as the Senior Advisor to German and French retail clients where he was on the sell side responsible for the pitching, pricing and marketability of investment opportunities in the investment management sector and on the origination side with sourcing investment mandates from institutional investors and banks, analysis and preparation of marketing documentation. Felix has a very broad experience in sales, portfolio construction, investment and custody on an international scale since 1995. He graduated Eberhard Karls-Universität in Tübingen, Germany, in Economics with Latin American studies and Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico, in International Finance, Market and Project analysis. Felix speaks German, French, English, Spanish and Italian.
