Munich based Global Placement Agent DC Placement Advisors has announced the appointment of Kasper Knudsen as a Senior Advisor on its board.
Kasper will counsel and advise the CEO and senior management members of DCPLA on all issues concerning strategic allocation of assets held by Nordic institutional investors and will support with his long-time experience and broad expertise in the Alternative Investment industry.
Kasper Knudsen joined DCPLA as a Senior Advisor in June 2019 and will leverage his network in the Nordic region to support DCPLA management with strategic advice and assists in the placement and distribution of alternative investment funds to institutional investors in the Nordics.
Kasper has worked in the alternative investment space since 2002 and has experience with fund investments as well as direct investments in the areas of private equity, infrastructure and forestry & agriculture. Kasper started his career as an investment professional with a Danish corporate venture unit. From 2004-2018, Kasper has worked as a portfolio manager for various Danish pension funds, most recently in the position of chief portfolio manager for one of Denmark’s largest commercial pension funds, Danica. Since 2018, Kasper has worked as an independent consultant, focusing on alternative investments. Kasper graduated from the Copenhagen Business School in 2002 with a Master’s degree in finance and accounting. He speaks Danish and English.
