DC Placement Advisors is the fund placement business of Dohr Capital. The firm was established in 2008 as specialist to deliver placement and advisory services to alternative fund managers. Typical projects include private equity, real estate and infrastructure fund placements. DC Placement Advisors is based in Munich, Germany, and comprises a team of 5 professionals with a broad-ranging expertise in marketing in the investment management industry.

The environment is constantly changing: We use our insight into investor expectations, attitudes and motivations to deliver appropriate marketing and placement solutions to our clients. Our role as a placement agent is that of a trusted partner – from strategy through to fund raising implementation and investor communication we help our clients understand the challenges and opportunities created by the changing investment environment, and act upon them.

The team at DC Placement Advisors has been involved in some of the most noticeable and challenging fund raisings in the German-speaking market, including the placement of the first German carbon fund in 2006 or the placement of one of the largest global infrastructure funds in the midst of the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009. Whatever the challenge, we shape our solution accordingly and use whichever strategies forms are the best
to achieve the objective of our client. Today we do this on a pan-European basis and our work spans the key European markets.

DC Placement Advisors GmbH ranked nr. 5 in prestigious Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Report. The ranking list was the result of the survey "Sources of Capital", Issue April 2010, conducted by Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst in 2009. In sum, 126 private equity firms and 21 placement agents representing nearly 40 billion USD, responded to the survey.
